Pelvic health issues are common, but that doesn’t mean they’re normal, or that you have to live with them. And we can help you get rid of them for good. Access holistic, specialized pelvic floor care in the Bitterroot Valley, in the comfort of your home or in our cozy office. More than just treating incontinence, we provide full-scope, performance-based physical therapy services with expert, specialized attention to pelvic floor and abdominal function during pregnancy and postpartum, and addressing everything from pelvic pain to clogged ducts. Giving you choices so you can prioritize your health and quality of life, especially in seasons when it is difficult to do so.
Our approach
We believe in changing how pelvic health therapy is provided so we can support healthy pregnancy, birth, and womanhood. We provide services where and when it is convenient, so you have access to expert care during times of life when it can be difficult to make time for self-care. Pelvic floor physical therapy is what we do, we did not add it on to an existing orthopedic practice. With years of experience working with midwives, doulas, and other perinatal specialists, our passion is helping people live their lives without pain, leaking, or feeling like they can’t do the things they love to do.
Our office is designed specifically for pelvic health therapy. It offers a warm and private environment, rather than being a back room in a hospital rehabilitation center or an orthopedic practice where you have to walk through a large gym or waiting area. You also won’t hear people working out outside our treatment room. You get a quiet environment focused on you!
Personalized, specialty care.
All of your appointments will be provided by a licensed, specialized pelvic health physical therapist on a one-on-one basis; you will never be handed off to an aide or a therapist who does not specialize in pelvic health or has only taken a single weekend course. Your treatment plan will incorporate your specific goals and challenges, rather than a generic cookie-cutter program based on your diagnosis (and it might not even include kegels!).
Mobile and in-office options
We will come to you; you can participate in physical therapy at home, even during nap time for your littles! Or if you prefer some time away from home, our office is conveniently located in Hamilton, MT at the corner of Highway 93 and Bedford Street. Studio yoga sessions take place at Aspen Leaf Yoga.

Amanda Lasseter, PT, DPT
Dr. Amanda Lasseter is an experienced pelvic health physical therapist, specializing in perinatal care. After the birth of her first son, spending time with other postpartum moms, she saw the great need for perinatal care and education. She strives to make holistic pelvic rehabilitation part of the standard of care for all women during and after pregnancy to support healthy pregnancy, birth, breastfeeding, and quality of life. She has dedicated her career to this specialty, and feels strongly with the complexities of pelvic health, her patients deserve a true expert rather than someone splitting time treating knees and shoulders.
Testimonials
“Amanda was integral to healing my pelvic floor and diastasic recti during and after my pregnancy. The exercises she gave me combined with my own hard work were keys to my success. A family-friendly environment and just the wonderful and knowledgeable human she is, are reasons I will forever recommend Amanda.”
— Jessica P.
“Amanda was not only caring and compassionate towards my situation, she was incredibly knowledgeable of my condition. This was welcome support, seeing my previous pregnancy I had to diagnose myself with SPD and utilize a sports PT to help me. Amanda’s diverse and well-rounded knowledge is evident; pair that with her positive, professional, and kind demeanor and you’ve got one heck of a PT.”
— Becky B. (daughter of a PT who taught in university PT program)

This is a common source of anxiousness and mystery around pelvic health therapy. Your doctor of physical therapy will most likely recommend an internal vaginal and/or rectal assessment to thoroughly and accurately assess muscle tone, strength, coordination, and function of your pelvic floor muscles in relation to your symptoms. It will be discussed with you at your appointment, and no pressure is ever given if you are uncomfortable for any reason. You can still benefit from therapy even if you don’t consent to internal examination or treatment. You can rest assured consent is an ongoing conversation. The best part if you do have an internal pelvic floor assessment, it is much more pleasant than the pelvic exam you may be familiar with from gynecological exams, because we are speculum- and stirrup-free!
